3D ANIMATION

0
3D animation would have to be by far my favorite course. In it, we are able to create anything that we can imagine. In the level A course, we learned how to make things explode, and shatter into a million peices. As well as landscapes, and still images of fruit. Most importantly, we learned how to get lighting effects to move in different environments, as well as making a camera follow a moving target.

So far at GESS you are able to take 3 levels of animation. Each level delves into more challenging things to animate. Of course, if animation is not for you, then there are still other courses to do with technology. Such as Infotech, Media Arts, and Computer Programming.

The majority of the skills that you obtain through this course have to do with time managment. You must be able to work at a steady pace, while giving anough time for your animations to render. On the last day, I was using two computors at the same time, and they were both rendering long animations. I have learned not to miss classes before the final week.

I would think that people that enjoy the technological aspect of the world would be into this course. As well as those who love movies, books, and playing videogames for sure.

It is definatly a worthwhile class to partake in. I would strongly suggest it to anyone.

Sadly, I left put the one without sound effects onto Youtube... Oops.

Hope you enjoyed these clips :)
